What is going on here?

This site is testing 52Framework, a CSS framework for HTML5 and CSS3.

Iuvo, LLC is my web development company that is no longer taking new customers. Huh? Why not you say? I simply do not have enough time. My name is Marsha Vomastic and I'm currently the webmaster for the Wisconisn Lottery and for the Invasive Plant Association of Wisconsin. I also help out some other organizations with their web sites. Another division of Iuvo is Painted Nature where I do artwork, primarily painted feathers. See my work at http://PaintedNature.com

Iuvo is Latin meaning "to assist" and that's what I like to do. I love helping others in the IT area because I have a knack and they don't. The people I work with are great at what they do, which sometimes does not include dealing with computers and websites, but does include working hard to protect and enhance the environment.

This is my playground

I am using this website to test new things. Currently, I am trying out something called a CSS framework.

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets and it is the modern way to style a website. A framework sets some base styles to make it more efficient to design a site.

HTML5 is the next standard for how web browsers are to interpret the code on a web page. There are a lot of exciting new things available to web designers. CSS 3 is likewise the new standard for the styles. Sadly, not all browsers completely support these two standards yet so this site might look different in various browsers.

So pardon my dust

At any given time, this site could look beautiful or atrocious, depending on what I'm working on. Or it could languish for months while I'm working on other things. Or if the weather is nice, I might be fishing! :)
